DETAILS  ACTIVITIES OF APP WELFARE SOCIETY 

                                                            

          At present the Society is dealing with 2 (two) funds namely A.P.P. welfare Fund and A.P.P Superannuation  Fund on collection of subscription/contribution from the members.

 1.         A.P.P. WELFARE FUND :- The fund is running only on the basis of the subscription collection from the members and Grant-In-Aid received from the Government yearly. The rate of Rank-wise subscription are as under :-

(i)    P.O./Dy.S.P.  to D.G.P           -     Rs.50/-P.M

       Steno Gd - I  

 

(ii)   ASI to Inspector,

       UDC to OS                            -     Rs.25/- PM

       Steno Gd. - II, Gd. - III

 

(iii)  Constable to Head Constable  -      Rs. 20/-PM

       LDC

       Grade-IV Staff

      

       from the above collection the Welfare society is providing the following benefits to the members :-

        (I)        In case of death of a member his next of kin is paid Rs.30,000/- as Immediate Relief Grant.

 (II)      Annual Sports grant paid to APP Sports fund annually @ Rs.50,000/-.

 (III)   Spectacle grant of  Rs.200/-  paid to the member  who were spectacle (one time)  after  attaining     the age of 40 years.

 (IV)    Family planning incentive grant of Rs.250/-paid to the member who undergo tubectomy operation    or whose wife undergo vasectomy operation and who does not have more than 2(two) children.

 (V)      Medical aid grant for indoor patients @ Rs.25/- per day for a maximum period of 15 days stay at    hospital.

 (VI)   Annual Scholarship grant to the children of Police personnel from Class-I to University level who     secure 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in their respective classes as under :-

      From Class – I to Class – IX - Rs.500/- for 1st  position

                                              - Rs. 300/- for 2nd position

                                              - Rs.200/- for 3rd position.

From Class – X to Class – XII – Rs.2,000/- for 1st position

                                           - Rs. 1,500/- for 2nd position

                                          -  Rs.1,000/- for 3rd position

      From Degree/University       – Rs.3,000/- for 1st position

Examination passed             -  Rs. 2,000/- for 2nd position

                                            - Rs. 1,000/- for 3rd position

 (VII)   Out of subscription an Insurance premium is also paid for Group Janata Personal Accident Insurance Scheme for 5 (five) years against all members to provide benefit of Rs.1,00,000/- to the next of kin of deceased members in the event of accidental death/permanent disability.

 (VIII)  Further from the fund other grants such as construction of wel, payment of honorium to pump operator, Audit fee and K.Oil project etc is provided from time to time.

 (IX)     Besides, these loan also provided regularly to the members of the society on the following :-

                  (a)    Loan on medical ground maximum -           Rs.10,000/-

(b)    Loan on marriage ground maximum      -     Rs.  6,000/-

(c)       Loan on natural calamities ground maximum Rs.  3,000/-

 2.         A.P.P. SUPERANNUATION  FUND :- The fund is completely individual. An amount of Rs.1200/-contributed by the member at a time and the benefit will be provided as under :-
